PII has been fortunate to remain a tightly focused, family-run business since it was founded by the current president's grandfather in 1924. College Students

College students can find countless ways to fill their summers. We can't tell you how to spend yours, but PII's Internship Program gives you four things we're sure you can't find at the local swimming pool: a regular paycheck, experience, professional contacts, and some real-world education.

In the past, students have spent summers (or fall or spring semesters) working in our main office, quality control department, stone quarries, hot mix asphalt plants and liquid terminals. The informal nature of our internship program allows students to truly roll up their sleeves and challenge themselves in the workplace.
